The Daily Fern: You star in the Netflix film “Love, Guaranteed” which is streaming now. Can you tell us a little about the film and your character?

Lisa Durupt: The film is an old fashion romantic comedy that shows the world of online dating and asks the question, "can you sue a dating site if you DON'T find love."

Denise is the book smart, but life & love challenged paralegal that works at Susan Whitaker's (played by Rachel Leigh Cook) small law firm. She is kind as the day is long and not always the best under pressure, but when it comes to finding Susan love, she is a master at online dating.

The Daily Fern: What was it like working on set?

Lisa Durupt: This set was one of the most fun I have experienced. Everyone from Rachel to Damon to Mark Steven Johnson (director) was playful and onboard to try anything. It was fantastic!

The Daily Fern: You also have a role in another Netflix film “To All The Boys, Always And Forever, Lara Jean”. Who do you play?

Lisa Durupt: I wanted to work with Henry Thomas as I have been a fan of his for so long. If there are more movies in the franchise, she will be around more, but for this, you shall have to wait and see.

The Daily Fern: Do you have any other projects in the works, and if so, can you tell us a little about them?

Lisa Durupt: I am heading back to film Heartland in a couple of weeks to wrap up season 14. It is a beloved, long-standing show about horse culture in beautiful Alberta. You can find it on Netflix.

The Daily Fern: What made you want to become an actress?

Lisa Durupt: Isn't that the question. I was in the right place at the right time kind of moment that directed me on a whole new path in my early 20's. I wanted to be an athletic therapist.
