The Daily Fern: On Brat TV’s ‘Mani’ you play a troublemaker named Chris who walks to the beat of his own drum. What do you say to all the Chris fans out there and those who might identify with the Character?

The Daily Fern: What’s it like working regularly on a bunch of different sets? How do you get in character every day?
Bryson Robinson: One of my favorite things about being an actor is working on different sets and with new people. It gives me the chance to make new friends and sometimes when I’m lucky I get to work with kids that have been my friends for years. To get into character I always try to get as much information about the character as possible. I try to draw on my life experiences to really be authentic while being the character.

The Daily Fern: Outside of set, you’re still only 14-years-old! What’s it like navigating your teen years in the Hollywood eye?
Bryson Robinson: Well I try to be a good role model for kids my age. It’s pretty easy I think... when I’m not working I’m usually at Disneyland or Universal. It’s super fun when I run into people that recognize me. I’m always down to take a pic. I love it.
The Daily Fern: What’s the best part about your job?
Bryson Robinson: The best part of my job is after doing a scene and knowing I nailed it!! It’s like a rush of adrenaline.

The Daily Fern: Any advice for aspiring youth actors? Especially other boys your age?
Bryson Robinson: If acting and performing is what you are passionate about never give up. It’s going to be a long road with many nos. All it takes is one yes.
The Daily Fern: If you weren't pursuing acting what do you think you’d be doing?
Bryson Robinson: I would probably be going to traditional school and playing more team sports.
The Daily Fern: Thank you so much for taking the time to share a little bit about yourself. You’re truly a trailblazer! Is there anything else you’re working on?
Bryson Robinson:
It was fun!! Thank you for interviewing me. You can see me in Leslie Odom Jr. newest Music Video Go Crazy, Netflix’s The Last Show on Earth and I have a feature film releasing soon.
