Four Big Sister Podcasts You Need to Download

Written by Bethany Nash

Have you ever just been driving in your car or doing some much needed deep cleaning wishing you were sipping your favorite beverage and talking to your big sister/best friend about life, but a real phone call would be too distracting?

The solution is what I like to call my Big Sister Podcasts.

These podcasts are those with advice, great stories, a little bit of gossip and motivation which overall feels like you are just chilling out with your best friends. This is especially great right now in quarantine!

#1: Kayln Nicholson’s Coffee Talk

Nicholson’s podcast is EVERYTHING. She talks health, body positivity, mental health, and how to keep your life organized. She also talks astrology, energy and law of attraction.

Her podcasts leave you feeling refreshed, elevated and ready to take on the world. Personally, it makes me feel like I have a big sister who always has the perfect advice for every circumstance.

She also does a lot of outside research, reads lots of books and always makes sure to let you know when it is something she has experienced or something she has researched, as well as where she read that fact/topic.

If I could only listen to one podcast for the rest of my life, this would be the podcast.

#2: What We Said hosted by Jaci Marie Smith and Chelsey Jade Curtis

Grab a drink! Grab a snack! And get ready to listen to your new best friends literally discuss everything under the sun.

The best and most iconic episodes would be their‘Worst’ episodes. In these episodes, listeners have written in telling their worst first kiss stories, wedding disaster stories, roommate horror stories etc. They are so much fun and you can’t help but feel a part of the conversation.

Smith and Curtis also discuss health, business and how to live your most authentic life.

This podcast is fun, motivational and a staple in my podcast downloads.

#3: Ready to Lose with Billie Blake Risboskin

Although Risboskin is new to the podcasting train, she has already created one of the most positive podcasts on the internet.

Her bubbly, positive energy is irresistible to listen to; meanwhile she gives the most uplifting advice. It focuses on overall health, the relationship between mind and body, and the idea that in order to get your body healthy you must have a healthy mindset.

If you are wanting to create a healthier lifestyle, Risboskin is the big sister with all the best tips and community to join.

And as an added bonus, she also offers one on one health coaching for those who want just a little bit more Risboskin positivity in their life and to further their health journey.

#4: Thick & Thin hosted by Katy Bellotte

Thick & Thin has all the aesthetic, old soul vibes that make you want to pour a glass of wine, draw a warm bath and learn something.

She discusses iconic women throughout history, books, life decisions, dating, and everything you would want to stay up all night asking questions about at a sleepover.

Bellote’s calming voice and unfiltered podcasts are so educational as well as relatable.

From working her dream 9 to 5 job to running her own business she is always raw and honest with her experiences, and answers many questions from her listeners most influencers would not.

All of these podcasts are available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you love to listen.
